2023-2024

  • Tree plantation with NSS – Haritha haram – at The Hyderabad Children’s Aid Society, Nanal Nagar, Mehdipatnam on 6th August 2023 an Environmental consciousness activity.
  • An outreach activity was conducted on biodiversity conservation-the medicinal value of 21 leaves used in Ganesh Puja in three different schools on the 14th, 15th, and 16thof September 2023.
  • Awareness program on Biodiversity conservation and medicinal value of 21 leaves used in Ganesh Puja in college campus on 16/9/2023 about Indian knowledge system & biodiversity conservation.

2022-2023

  1. Workshop on Microscopic techniques  at High School, Jama-e-Osmania, government school was conducted on 6th January 2022
  2. Plantation Program on World environment day  along with the forest department was organized on 5th June
  3. Earth day was celebrated by conducting Poster  competition on 22 April,
  4. Mushroom cultivation for Auxiliary Staff was organized on 25th April 2022,
  5. Awareness on Environmental pollution, climate change & Solid waste management at Govt. High School, Jama-E-Osmania, OU Campus was conducted on 17th February 2022

2020-2021

  1. Online awareness program was organized to educate the home makers about medicinal value of 21 plants used during Ganesh Chathurthi pooja and to conserve biodiversity on 21 August, 2020
  2. Tree Plantation- at Bahadurpally village, Dundigal on 26 August, 2020 .
  3. Awareness program on preventive measures during first unlock- Covid 19 for children of orphanage & Distribution of sanitization material to the children of Sneha Ghar, an orphanage, Ghas Mandi, Secunderabad. On 18 October, 2020

  1. Drawing competition on the theme “HAPPINESS” for students of 5th and 6th class at Sneha Ghar an orphanage, Bible House, Ghas Mandi, Secunderabad was organized.
  2. To sensitize students on the importance of     Biodiversity and its conservation, the  department conducted an awareness programme at Sri Chaitanya High School, Santoshnagar  Colony,

2018-2019

  1. Awareness programme on issues related to Biodiversity and its Conservation at Sri Chaitanya High School, Santoshnagar Colony, Mehdipatnam was organized.
  2. Microscope Techniques were taught to the students of Primary class, Govt. Primary School Ghasmandi, Secunderabad.
