2022-2023

• Final year students visited research Lab IICT, Habsiguda to gain insights on current research & research techniques carried out at the centre on 21st October 2022.
• Dairy Expo at HITEX -Field trip attended by both second and final years to understand the latest technical aspects in processing and packing of Dairy products on 4th February 2023.

2021-2022

• Field trip was organized for Final year students to visit various Life science departments of Osmania University on the occasion of open days organized by the departments to showcase the research and projects carried out by the respective departments.on 24th March 2022

2019-2020

• Educational tour to CCMB – in connection with Open Day on 26^th September,2019. The visit served the purpose of igniting young brains and get a glimpse of latest research activities, opportunities available in the fields of pure sciences and research. The students got glimpses of various ongoing research projects at CCMB such as DNA fingerprinting, nano-technology, new developments in rice varieties and cancer research.
• Department organized a field trip to Dr.Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences (DRILS),UoH Campus on 18^th September,2019 to first year students to gain real time exposure and insights on current research in pharmaceutical biology.
• Department organized a field trip to Rural Technology Park(RTP),NIRD Campus on 20^th  February 2020 to final year students to gain real time exposure on applied aspects  of microbes in composting, biogas production and bio pesticide production.

2018-2019

• Visit to Saboo Diagnostics, Begum Bazaar to gain real time experience on diagnostic procedures–both conventional and automated in microbiology, haematology and biochemistry for B.Sc.(Microbiology) III year students on 7^th March 2019
