The department had MOU with Sanskrit Academy, Osmania University, Hyderabad (Recognised by Adarsh Shodha Samsthan, Kendriya Samskrita Vishwa Vidyalaya).

Activity:

Offering Certificate Course under Advanced Lerner Program (ALP)

To fulfil the objectives of the department, department of Sanskrit in collaboration with Sanskrit Academy, Osmaniya University offers a Course containing four levels, prescribed by Kendriya Samskrita Vishwavidyalaya (Recognised by Adarsh Shodha Samsthan, Kendriya Samskrita Vishwa Vidyalaya).. After completion of each level, certificates will be given to the students. Students can gain one extra credit after completing each level.

Course Title:

  1. प्रथम दीक्षा (Sanskrit Language Learning) – Level-1
  2. द्वितीय दीक्षा (Sanskrit Language Learning) – Level-2
  3. तृतीय दीक्षा (Sanskrit Language Learning) – Level-3
  4. चतुर्थ दीक्षा (Sanskrit Language Learning) – Level-4

Duration: 21days for each level

Course Outcome: Students will be able to read, write, understand and speak in Sanskrit fluently.

Job opportunities:  

  1. Students can go for translation works
  2. Student can teach Simple Sanskrit Speaking
  3. Students can work on manualscripts.

Fee: 300/- per level (excluding study material) 

Course will commence from next academic year (2023-24).

Missionary college MOU program Student Knowledge Exchanging Program

Knowledge exchange is very important in educational institutions such as colleges and universities. It is a mutually beneficial shared expertise between academic institutions. In recent times, the popularity of this approach has increased. in this context The department of Sanskrit, St. Ann’s College for Women, Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad in collaboration with Little Flower Degree& PG College, Uppal, Hyderabad organized A ‘Student Knowledge Exchanging Program’ on 21st April, 2023.

For this, students were given some topics and asked to present on those topics either in PPT format or in poster format.

The given topics are: 1. Samskruta mahatvam, 2. Relation between guru and shishya, 3. Cleanliness in Shiksha, 4. Importance of Shiksha, 5. Ancient era vs Modern era, 6. Shastriya kavya rachana – Mahakavi Kalidasa

Sixteen students from both the colleges very efficiently presented on different topics. students enjoyed and enriched with the information shared through the presentations. E- certificates distributed to the presented students.
