Highlights and Achievements
- Received fund 40,000/- to organize five days National online Faculty development program on “Good Governance & Quality in Higher Education Institutions”, from Feb14th ton 18th Feb, 2022, sponsored by Telangana Council for Higher Education.
- Organised a National Webinar on “Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan: Issues and Challenges to Public Institutions” (6 th June, 2020), inviting Prof. Ch. Balaramulu (KU), Prof. G. Sudharshanam (UoH) and Prof. P. Narasaiah (BRAOU) as Speakers.
- Organised an Interdisciplinary webinar on “Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Mental Health, Economy and Social Life of People” with department of Social Sciences on 22nd and 23rd July, 2020.
- M Harshitha, student of 2018 batch secured 16th rank in Public Administration PG Entrance exam in CPGET conducted by Osmania University.
- Saba Siddiqui, student of 2018 batch secured 40th rank in Public Administration PG Entrance exam in CPGET conducted by Osmania University.
- B Tejashwini, student of 2018 batch secured 82nd rank in Public Administration PG Entrance exam in CPGET conducted by Osmania University.
- Students of HPP and EPP has visited nearby municipal area and interacted with GHMC Mayor Vijay Laxmi and local corporator to understand issues on Urban Governance under field visit.
- Students visited Gram Panchayat and interacted with Local VRO and Anganwadi teacher as an assignment for Rural Local Governance.
- Students interacted with HR Manager for Venkateshwara Fertilisers Co. to know HR practices of the company as an assignment for HRM paper.
- The Department of Public Administration is organizing a Guest lecture on the Topic “Strategy to Crack Civil Services” on 03/08/2022 at 10.30 AM in the AV room by Mrs. Bala Latha, Civil Services Trainer and Motivator.
- The Department of Political Science &Public Administration of St. Ann’s College for Women, Mehdipatnam and Department of Political Science & Public Administration of St.Pious X Degree and PG College for Women, Nacharam in collaboration with IQAC of both the colleges organises various competitions at the national level as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration from 15 th till 30 th August 2022.
- Students from BA first and Second Years visited Zinda Tilismat factory and Apiculture farm on 31 st January, 2023 as part of field trip.
