The Literary Committee is an extension of all language activities. It explores the creative expression skills of the students. It gives them a platform to speak, write, quiz, review, dramatize, present in all forms. It encourages not only the spoken word but also graphics and other forms of visual presentation. Our collaborators in this endeavour are the departments of Library and Information Science, the HydRAW(Hyderabad Readers and Writers) and various other guest faculty who are enthusiastic in their interaction with students. To name a few Dr. Shagufta Shaheen (MANUU) who shared on language and music, Dr. Maithry Shinde, who spoke on Colonial Literature, Dr. Srinivas Lankala’s (EFLU) inputs on writing for social media, Ms. Sangita Alwar’s (Mysore University) lec-dem on visual communication.
