Knowledge and academic insights gained through education by students is utilized to extend and reach out to the community to create awareness on various focus areas in microbiology and emerging infections or diseases. The below are extension programs carried out by the department

Experiential Learning is the process of learning by doing. By engaging students in hands-on experiences they are better able to connect theories and knowledge learned in the classroom to real-world situations. Department provides experiential learning opportunities by organizing student workshops/training programs in collaboration with industry/research institute with an objective of enhancing technical and professional skill sets.
